Reward tokens have been added to player accounts to give certain rewards for skill achievements. Players have also been rewarded houses if they owned them before the wipe.
The value of the tokens works like this:
You will be awarded tokens at the value of any of your previous skills that were 10 or greater. These can be applied to existing skills at any level, but regardless of the amount of the token, the total skill points after reward will not exceed 100. For example:
Current Skill at 30, Token Value of 60 = 90 Skill after Reward
Current Skill at 60, Token Value of 60 = 100 Skill after Reward
Current Skill at 40, Token Value of 20 and a second Token Value of 20 = 80 Skill after Reward.
Obviously it makes sense to wait till the reward will boost you to 100 if your token is a lower amount. (in the above examples, player 1 and player 3 should have waited just a bit before redeeming). However, how you use your points is entirely up to you. You can use multiple ones on one skill or spread them out to multiple skills.
Tokens can be used for any skill but it must be within that type of skill, for instance, combat tokens must be used for combat skills, and trade tokens must be used for trade skills. The token will indicate which skill the points were awarded for, and the color of the tokens is slightly different.
Even if you have no skills that qualify, you will receive one 50 point token as a thank you for participating as a player on Teiravon.
You will also receive an additional 50 point token as a thank you if you participated in the test server program week.
In addition to all these wonderful goodies, you will receive a house deed, or a deed that is close in value to the one you had, if yours is no longer available. Some house models are not available now, and some of the larger estates and castles we are reserving for great houses and possibly guilds and player run taverns.
Even more exciting are the special item tokens that you will receive (as a player, and as tester if you provided feedback) that can be redeemed at a later date for special items.
All your characters will be listed, you can select only one to get rewards from, but you will be able to reward all character slots if you had all character slots filled before (all your characters will show, as each is used for rewards, that will disappear from the choices as you create other characters). Example:
Previously you had four characters, you will be able to reward four new characters, separately.
ALL TOKENS WILL ONLY WORK ON THE SPECIFIC CHARACTER THAT THEY WERE GENERATED ON. THEY CANNOT BE TRADED OR SOLD.
YOU DON’T NEED TO ACCEPT THE REWARDS THE FIRST TIME THEY COME UP. THE WINDOW WILL SHOW EACH TIME YOU LOGIN UNTIL YOU DO.
